Twenty-three PNZ rangers participated on November 25 and 26, 2025, in the Human Rights and Safeguards Capacity Building, promoted by IUCN and the Peace Parks Foundation (PPF), under the CBA-Scale+ project.

The initiative aimed to strengthen the skills of rangers in matters of human rights, environmental and social safeguards, communication with communities and prevention of Gender-Based Violence (GBV). During the two days, the trainees revisited essential principles applied to patrol activities, conflict resolution and appropriate conduct in community interactions.

Participants are expected to integrate these principles into their daily work, promoting a more inclusive intervention in line with good practices in natural resource management, promoting more harmonious relations between Zinave National Park and local communities.
